HEIC to JPG

Your iPhone saves photos as HEIC, which many apps, websites and older devices still can't open. Convert them to JPG so they work everywhere — the photos are decoded right on your device and nothing is uploaded.

Drag & drop HEIC images here, or click to chooseHEIC images, up to 200 MB each — converted in your browser

Your images are converted in your browser and never uploaded. Nothing is stored.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded when I convert them?

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your photos stay on your device and are never sent to or stored on our server.

Why won't my HEIC photos open on other devices?

HEIC is the format iPhones use to save space, but many apps, websites and Windows PCs don't support it. Converting to JPG makes the photo open anywhere.

Will the JPG be smaller than the HEIC?

Usually not. HEIC is already a very efficient format, so the JPG is often a little larger. The point of converting is compatibility, not saving space — to make it smaller, compress the JPG afterwards.

What happens to a transparent HEIC?

JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent area is filled with a white background. Convert to PNG instead if you need to keep transparency.

Is converting HEIC to JPG free?

Yes — completely free, with no account, no watermark and no limit on how often you use it.
