Why convert AVIF to JPG?

Do I need a special browser?
Your browser decodes the AVIF, and every current browser can. On very old software the image may not open — use an up-to-date browser.
What happens to a transparent AVIF?
JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent area is filled with a white background. Convert to PNG instead if you need to keep transparency.
